CHS Student Art Gallery Exhibit

Camas Public Library’s Second Story Gallery is featuring “Our Point of View,” a collection of works by the Advanced Photography students at Camas High School, through April 29. These 42 photographs, taken by nine students, were selected through a juried style selection process involving teachers from the CHS Arts Department.  “Our teachers had a difficult job wading through more than 200 submissions,” said photography teacher Doug Huegli.

The photos were unveiled at the April 7th “First Friday Art Walk” in Downtown Camas.  Four students [pictured above] made it back early from spring break early for the event: Sophomores Kelsey Lawrence, Allyssa Heilbrun, Hunter Wade, and Senior Alexis Royal.  The display will be open to the public through April 29 at which time students will submit their images for an AP portfolio review.

The Second Story Gallery is open from 10 AM – 8 PM Mon – Wed, 10 AM – 6 PM Thurs – Sat, and is closed on Sunday.
