Boston University will be hosting a reception for high school juniors and seniors to discuss their program areas, campus life, admission and financial aid on Monday, October 10^th at OMSI- 1945 SE Water Avenue in Portland. Check in begins at 6:30 and you MUST pre-register for this event at: www.BU.edu/admissions/visit-us/bu-in-your-area.

This event will be held on Saturday, October 8th  from 10am-1pm

Students and parents will get the opportunity to tour the school and receive information on how to be admitted, preregistration is encouraged. Students can apply at the event and we will waive the exam fee.

A local family is looking to hire a reliable, hardworking, dependable sitter for their kids. They are expecting the sitter to provide their own transportation, be able to handle several kids at once, and work a few afternoons and evenings.

Students interested in attending Yale University are invited to an informational session on their academic programs, residential colleges, campus life, admission and financial aid. The session is Wednesday, September 21^st at 7:00 p.m. and will be held at the Catlin Gabel School- 8825 SW Barnes Road in Portland. You MUST pre-register for this event at: www.admission.yale.edu/events.

A local family is looking to hire a student that is willing to do yard work, starting in October. The job will include raking leaves, mowing, weed pulling, trimming and much more. The pay is $10/hr and you must provide your own transportation. If interested, see Mrs. Jones in room 101 for more information.

Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Rice University and the University of Chicago will be hosting an information session on Monday, September 12th in Portland.
