In honor of Veteran’s Day, S&VEN at the Clark County Food Bank will be held on Friday, November 10 (Veteran’s Day Holiday). They will provide two fast, fun, food repack opportunities featuring music, a photo booth, and lunch. Throughout the entire event, they are sharing hunger-related facts and work to inspire participants to continue to serve within their community.

Students interested in pursuing a degree in the Medical Field; the 2017-2018 Kaiser Permanente Scholarship is now available! They are awarding amounts of $2,000, $5,000 or $10,000 to at least one qualified college-bound high school Senior at CHS! Qualified applicants have a min of 2.5 GPA, plan on pursuing an education and Career in the Medical Field and plan on enrolling Full Time, in a College or University for the Fall of 2018. Every year the Voice of Democracy Program offers more than $2 million dollars in scholarships and incentives to students from 9-12th grade. To apply for one of their many opportunities you need to record an audio essay answering their theme of “My vision for America” and fill out their entry form. The Clark College Automotive Department welcomes students and their families to learn about our Dealer Ready Automotive Technology programs. The event will be held on Thursday, October 26th from 6-8 pm. With a program history that spans more than 40 years, They have received community recognition for producing top-tier automotive technicians with our focus on hands-on learning and partnerships with dealerships that include Toyota, Honda, Dick Hannah, and Audi.
Tour our 14,000 square foot facility, meet with faculty and staff, and learn about our certificate and associate degree options.
The event will feature opportunities to connect with dealership managers and professional technicians to find about career opportunities. Food and refreshments will be available.
