SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION NIGHT

Washington State University Vancouver will be hosting a scholarship information night on Tuesday, December 5th from 6-7 pm at the WSUV Campus in the Dengerink Administration Building -Room 110. 

This informative evening is FREE and open to all no matter which college you decide to attend.

This evening will include:
*Where to find the best scholarships
*Tips on how to write award-winning essays
*Helpful tips from prior award winners

Meals on Wheels Volunteer Hours

VOLUNTEER HOURS

Meals on Wheels is looking to fill volunteer spots at New Seasons Market in Fisher’s Landing or Chuck’s Produce on Mill Plain the week before Thanksgiving from

Nov. 17-Nov. 22nd

Each shift is 2-hours but you are welcome to sign up for more than one shift.

Please check out the link for each store to sign up. Each volunteer will register for a spot and provide a mobile number for contact.  Upon arrival for your 2-hour shift, please check in with any store employee.

Looking for Volunteer Hours?

In honor of Veteran’s Day, S&VEN at the Clark County Food Bank will be held on Friday, November 10 (Veteran’s Day Holiday).  They will provide two fast, fun, food repack opportunities featuring music, a photo booth, and lunch. Throughout the entire event, they are sharing hunger-related facts and work to inspire participants to continue to serve within their community.

They are offering this workshop at various times throughout the Fall season. You are expected to learn the following:

College Goal Washington Has An Upcoming Event!

College Goal WA is a free event to help families file and complete a FAFSA or WASFA. This event will be held at Clark College and is open to the public regardless of where students are considering attending college.

Automotive Open House Event

Seniors, Do you have an interest or desire to work in the field of Automotive Technology?
The Clark College Automotive Department welcomes students and their families to learn about our Dealer Ready Automotive Technology programs. The event will be held on Thursday, October 26th from 6-8 pm. With a program history that spans more than 40 years, They have received community recognition for producing top-tier automotive technicians with our focus on hands-on learning and partnerships with dealerships that include Toyota, Honda, Dick Hannah, and Audi.

Tour our 14,000 square foot facility, meet with faculty and staff, and learn about our certificate and associate degree options.

The event will feature opportunities to connect with dealership managers and professional technicians to find about career opportunities. Food and refreshments will be available.
