Free and Reduced Lunch Program

Students who qualify for either free or reduced lunch also qualify for our free breakfast program. Contact Lisa Meyers at the Nutrition Services Office located at Camas High School at 833-5768 for more information. Click here for information and application documents… (PDF).

Additional Assistance Programs

• Enrollment for state funded low cost or FREE Health Insurance.
   
• Apple Health for Kids (a low-cost, State-sponsored medical insurance program). For more information contact http://hrsa.dshs.wa.gov/applehealth/. Informational packets are also available in our Main Office.
   
• ParentHelp123.org helps families to apply for state-sponsored health insurance and food stamps, and to find services in their community. ParentHelp123.org is managed by WithinReach. http://www.parenthelp123.org/
   
• Washington College-Bound Scholarship This is a relatively new scholarship will pay for college tuition usually for 7th and 8th Grade students who are eligible for the free and reduced-price lunch program.  But this year only this program is also available to current 9th Graders. Students are eligible is they qualify for free/reduced lunch, meet TANF standards, or are a foster child.  Applications are available on-line at www.hecb.wa.gov/collegebound.  Interested 9th Graders must sign up by June 30, 2009.
