Camas Career Center has partnered with Boeing-Portland Representatives to have them on Campus Friday, February 28th during A and B lunches.

Boeing Representatives will meet with Junior and Seniors students visits to talk with students about the two Tech Prep programs they offer. They are targeting students who are interested in a career in manufacturing and developing their skills. The Machining Tech Prep program is a three-year summer, paid internship for students beginning after their junior year. Our newest program is the Assembly Tech Prep program.

Upcoming Practice ACT Test!

CHS is offering a practice ACT test on Saturday, March 21, from 9:00am-1:00pm in the North Commons. Cost is $5 and you pay and receive registration information at the ASB window. The Deadline to pay is this Friday, March 20th.

This is a writing contest for that invites students to submit essays about their experience with cancer for the opportunity to win one of several $1,000 cash prizes.

Contest Details:
Open to students 9-12th grade
Must be 500-1500 words, compelling and emotionally honest
Deadline for submission is March, 3rd 2020.
