- Using a copy of the CHS MeanMachine located here. Create an animation using Fireworks that has it running/walking across the screen with flashing text that says “Go Papermakers”.
- Design another 150 x 1200 CHS Header/Banner in Fireworks, add some form of animation to the header. (text, graphic, background, etc.)

- Click on the “Start Modeling” red button.
- Wait for it to load, scroll down and use your Google Account to login to the program.
Recreation Family/Game Room 3D Modeling Assignment
- You will be creating a 20 X 30 foot Recreation Family/Game Room.
- Using the rectangle tool and the push/pull tool option, create your “Walls”. Thicknesses should be 5″ for interior walls and 6″ for exterior walls.
- Wall heights should be 8′.
- Add (1 or more) doors, and (2 or more) windows after you create the walls. Select the “Components” from the Tool Bar and search the 3D Warehouse for your doors and windows. Size (scale) them to an appropriate size. Doors typically are 7′ tall and 3′ wide.
- Floors? (Carpet, Tile, Wood, etc.)
- Furniture? (Chairs, Couches, etc.)
- Search again in the 3D Components for other optional items you wish to add to your Recreation Family Room (Cabinets, Stereo Music System, TV’s, Pool Table, Dart Board, Foosball Table, Ping Pong Table, Fish Tanks, Wall Pictures, Plants, Fireplace, and much more…
- As you add your components make sure they are scaled to an average dimension. Look up size dimensions on the internet.

Backyard Environment & Landscape 3D Modeling Assignment
- You will be creating a 3D modeled Backyard Environment w/Landscaping
The dimension will be 125′ wide by 175′ long. - Your backyard must include…
– Deck (wood or metal)
– Patio (concrete or tile)
– Patio Items (benches, tables, chairs, stools, barbeque, fire pit, etc.)
– Grass/Lawn Areas (landscape)
– Trees, Shrubs and Planters (landscape)
– Walkways (gravel, stepping stones, concrete, etc.)
– Small metal/wood shed 10′ x 12′ minimum for lawn mowers, etc. - Optional items you may wish to include; Fences, Swimming Pool, Hot Tub, Sports Courts (volleyball, badminton, horseshoes, pickleball, etc.), Play Structures, Gazebo, Lighting Fixtures, Ponds, Fountains, Large Rocks, Garden Area.

Product Design and Company Simulation
All parts or tasks of the company simulation activity listed below should be uploaded through our Company Checklist Form located in our Google Classroom.
1. Groups or 2 or Individual (Day 1)

2. Create a Company Name, Tag/Slogan and Branding Logo (Day 1-2)
Decide on a Company Name – Write a detailed description of your product.
Design a Company Graphic Logo Image
Create a Company “Tag or Slogan”

3. Product Research & Development (Day 1-3)
Research and identify a product that your company will construct and market.
Create a market survey using Google Forms with 20 questions. Include the emails from those doing the survey in your results. Here is a link to some suggestions for creating a product survey questionnaire.
Example survey questions to help get you started…
- What do you like most about this product?
- What do you dislike most about this product?
- What other products in the market place would they consider instead of this?
- What’s your first reaction to this new product idea?
- What are things you would change or improve with this product?
- Colors, features, etc..
.4. Product Design CAD / 3D Model (Day 4-6)
Each member of the team will create a Fusion 360 3D Model of the product.
3D Print a small scale model of your product.

5. Prototype Construction (Day 7-9)
Build a prototype (full scale) of your product. (Cardboard, etc.)

6. Manufacturing Production Flow Chart (Day 10)
Create a graphic (.png file) flow chart showing all the build process steps.

7. Marketing (Day 11-16)
- Create a Promotional Flyer on your product using Google Docs. Include 3D model views and photo picture views, a paragraph description of the product, and a bulleted list of features.
- Construct a Website using Google Sites to promote your product (3 pages, model views, photos, etc.)
- Create a short informational 15 or 30 second “Video Advertisement” on your product.
– Use a “Storyboard Sheet” to organize your camera shots and scene content.
– Using IMovie in our lab edit the video advertisement. Upload the finished video to your Google Drive or YTube to be share on your Google Slide presentation.

8. Presentation (Day 17-18)
Create a Google Slide Presentation. Detail the whole process of your company and product tasks. Include the following…
– Company name, slogan, logo image.
– Description of your product.
– Production Process Flowchart of your Product
– Photo images of your Prototype and 3D Model
– Product survey results.
– Company Website.
– Video Storyboard and finished Advertisement.
– Promotional Product Flyer.
