CHS Seniors Share Three District Titles

Caleigh Lofstead, Alexa Jones and Maddie Woodson grabbed a hold of their third district track and field trophy Friday, at McKenzie Stadium.

This one is the most satisfying because all three girls are Camas High School seniors.

“We’ve won it before, so it’s like our goal,” Woodson said. “Everyone runs that much harder because they know their place matters.”

Jones couldn’t think of a better way to end her high school career. Today, she signs to run cross country and track for Eastern Oregon University. Read more at the Post-Record

CamTech Showcase Night

The CamTech Program would like to invite interested students and parents to attend our first annual Showcase Night here at CHS on Tuesday May 24, 2016, starting at 5:40 PM in the CHS Theater. At 6 PM we’ll migrate across the hall to our CamTech labs where students will be demonstrating skills and sharing a variety of projects they’ve done this past year in program. Come check us out and see if we might be a fit for you.

Soccer Wins District Championship

The day he checked off one of his main goals for his senior season — being named the Gatorade Player of the Year for Washington — Bennett Lehner scored the goal that made his Camas Papermakers district champions. Read more at the Columbian

The team will play tonight Wednesday May 18 at 5 PM here at Doc Harris Stadium against Snohomish in a first round state playoff game. Come out and support the team!

Gatorade Washington Boys Soccer Player of the Year

Lehner had 20 goals and 10 assists for Camas during the regular season, helping the Papermakers go 14-1-1 and earn a share of the Class 4A Greater St. Helens League title at 10-1-1, as they look to make their way back into the state tournament. Read more at the Columbian
