Slow-Pitch Softball District Champs!

Camas beat Heritage 6-1 for the district championship Oct. 23, at the VGSA Fields in Salmon Creek. The Papermakers are going to play in the first Washington state slow-pitch softball tournament Saturday, at the Columbia Playfield in Richland.

Cross Country Wins 2 District Titles

The Camas boys and girls cross country teams brought home two Southwest Washington 4A district championship trophies Wednesday Oct. 18, from Lewisville Park in Battle Ground. Read more at the CW Post Record

Jenkins, Maton, CHS Teams Dominate Westside Classic
Emma Jenkins, Daniel Maton and the Camas cross country teams are headed to the state meet in full stride. Saturday Oct. 28, Jenkins and Maton were individual winners as Camas dominated the District 3-4 Westside Classic at Chambers Creek in University Place. Read more at The Columbian

CHS Volleyball Bashes Union

Camas blockers Marianna Payne and Whitney Quist reach up for the volleyball at the net Oct. 19, at Union High School. The Papermakers swept the Titans 25-17, 25-19, 25-22 to remain undefeated in league.

Union did everything it could to force a fourth set against the Camas volleyball team, but the Papermakers persevered and swept their rivals to remain perfect in league. Read more at the CW Post Record

Soccer Preps for Bi-Districts

Camas’ Maddie Kemp takes a shot in the Papermakers’ 2-0 win over Union on Thursday at McKenzie Stadium. The star forward had plenty of close calls, but also converted on two goals to give Camas the top seed to the Class 4A bi-district playoffs.

The win moved the Papermakers (10-2-2, 5-0-1) within one win of the 4A Greater St. Helens League title. Camas still has two league games left. Read more at The Columbian

CHS Golfers Bound For Bi-Districts

Owen Huntington sinks his par putt for Camas on the 17th hole Tuesday, at the Tri-Mountain Golf Course in Ridgefield. The freshman finished in fifth place at districts, with a two-day total of 150, to advance to the bi-district tournament in May. He improved his score by four strokes in the final round.

CHS senior Connor Shira earned eighth place and will join Huntington at bi-districts. Read more at the CW Post Record
