Our FIRST Robotics Team 2471 has been working hard to design and build a robot for the 2018 competition season. Please take a moment to click the link below to see our new robot, Atlas. Our team currently has 42 students from Camas, Hockinson, and Washougal High Schools. We get 6 weeks to design, build, and program a robot for competition. Each year, Team Mean Machine has risen to the challenge, and we’ve been to the World’s competition for the last 7 years. There is also a business side to our team. These students manage our budget, interface with the community and sponsors, and help ensure our team runs smoothly.
I’m so proud of these students and grateful to the mentors that really make this possible. Thanks also to our generous sponsors.
