Last Friday morning, the girl’s basketball season ended with a 44-60 loss to Kentridge. The Papermakers put a scare into the defending state champions by playing one of their best quarters of the year jumping out to a 20-13 lead after the 1st quarter. The girls continued to play solid and lead by 6 at halftime. Kentridge size took over in the 3rd quarter and girls could never recover. Three players scored in double-figures led by Courtney Clemmer with 14, followed by Marianna Payne with 13 and Haley Hanson with 11. The girls would like to thank all the students and staff members who supported them through the year. For the second year in-a-row, the girls finished as one of the top 8 teams in the state. Congratulations Ladies!
