School starts Wednesday September 2, 2015.

CamTech is year-’round for those interested. See the Camas Codes and the Camas Community Education for summer and year-’round opportunities.

Our next meeting will be Monday August 24, 2:00pm to 4:00pm in the CamTech Labs area of Camas High School. Look for an email from CamTech staff during the week of August 12th with the meeting details.

A link that paints a picture of where Camas School District is going with its education system – 13 minute long Tedx Talk – gives a glimpse of the world we want to be preparing our students to succeed in.  Now-ist Link … and thus, using this speaker’s language, we also need to be operating using a compass and not a map, pulling and not pushing, learning and not educating … are we ready for this?

… TO the approximately 60 families who attended our parent info meeting last night and lasted through our over-long presentation.  We ARE passionate about this opportunity.

… TO the many folks who asked questions last night.  Several more items were added to our FAQ – thanks again everyone for asking the questions!.

… TO the core CamTech staff who gave up an evening to share our passion.

… TO the 61 students (and their parents) who have completed the interest survey as step one to get into CamTech. Response emails have been sent out Sunday to all applicants  – if you did not get one by Sunday 7:00pm, email ronald.wright@camas.wednet.edu right away.

Note that anyone may forecast for most of the courses in CamTech. We expect to hold another admission period near mid-term of first semester next year.
