CamTech ASB club forming

The CamTech ASB club is forming around the previous CHS Tech Club. Be thinking of folks you want to nominate to lead us.  Officers nominations in the third week of school.  There are many activity, field trip, and competition decisions to be made early this fall.  And we need to complete the process of becoming a chapter of SkillsUSA – many excellent opportunities abound once we are connected.

CamTech shirts? Help us create our CamTech “Brand”

One of our parents has volunteered to lead CamTech in designing and buying t-shirts and other possible wearables … Interested?  Here is what we know so far: We will be using the wining 2015 Orientation logo (see your email); students would have to purchase their own shirts; Staff likes the idea of polo-shirts for seniors/juniors only, with t-shirts and hoodies for anyone who wants one; staff likes the idea of designating Lab/Strand in some manner (open to suggestions); Ron likes black with bright red lettering (if you want something different, get your voting block ready!!).  Here is the local company we are considering getting our gear from …. what looks interesting to you? … InStichesAgain

New CamTech applicants fall 2015-2016 SY?

We have had several students and parents ask about getting into CamTech this fall ….  this is possible (two-week window in September) … Step 1: talk with a current CamTech junior/senior to make sure it makes sense for you, and to ask for their support as a reference … Step 2: talk with a CamTech teacher, outside of class time, to make sure it makes sense … Step 3: complete the online application … Step 4: after getting an appointment, complete the interview with CamTech staff.

Anyone interested may attend.   Yes, this may seem somewhat early to you, but after 6 years of doing internships for MST Magnet, we have learned it is best to get started now.  Agenda:
